A return to Anthrax’s heaviest best, confirmed tracks include “Vampires”, “Crawl”, “The Devil You Know”, “The Giant”, “Fight’em ‘Til You Can’t” and Earth On Hell. The album was produced by Rob Caggiano and Anthrax and is due out through Nuclear Blast this autumn.

“NEW SONGS, NEW VOICE, NEW ENERGY! Here we go, back in the metal saddle again. I am happy to be a part of all the festivals this year. We’ve been away and I know you’ve missed us. It is time to worship the music that we all love, ANTHRAX METAL!” – Charlie Benante

“I can’t wait to get to Europe and play shows. It’s been far too long and I miss our insane friends all over the continent. I’m especially excited about all the festivals we’re playing, I expect nothing less than complete and utter insanity!!!” – Scott Ian.

Anthrax is one of metal’s all time great acts. Along with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth they are credited with originating the thrash genre and the band has gone on to sell over 10 million albums worldwide and play to countless fans across the globe. The band has created such genre defining albums as “Among the Living”, “State Of Euphoria” and “Sound of White Noise” and such legendary tracks as “Metal Thrashing Mad”, “Indians”, “Caught In A Mosh”, “Among The Living”, “I Am The Law”, “Only” and of course the collaboration that went on to spawn a new genre – “Bring The Noise” (Public Enemy & Anthrax). 2009 marks the 25th anniversary of the band’s debut release – “A Fistful Of Metal”
