Pegasus Bridge used to be a 4-piece band from Manchester trying to make it big. With strong support from Radio One presenters Zane Lowe and Lauren Laverne, it’s seemingly obvious that they’re nearly there. With their 7 track debut mini album – filled with melodies that hook you from the start – out now, it’s undeniable their steady rise will shoot up.

The Rebs have a few things to be proud of. The band won Virgin’s 2008 Road To V Festival competition giving them the opportunity to open in front of thousands, on the same stage as indie giants, Kaiser Chiefs and The Zutons. And with that under their belts, the pressure surely was on to create an immense debut album.

Thomas White decided, while touring for his current album, The Maximalist, to do his own take of songs, that were already created. This is pretty brave, as it could either horribly wrong, or amazingly right.

Aqualung’s Matt Hales, almost gave it up. But even when he moved from England to LA, the singer/songwriter continued to write, even writing 3 songs with Leona Lewis. Soon, he was back with Aqualung in the recording studio.
